The homestay offered a great terrace and WiFi, and I had a wonderful time hiking in close proximity to the property. The free private parking was a bonus!

I just loved how I had to carry my own towels from the homestay to my room. So convenient!

Place was perfectly clean, location was prime central! Helpful staff, and the best owner ever. Easy check-in & late check-out, outstanding service. I liked the cosy bedroom and great bed. The bathroom was brand new and best. Pool area looked very clean.

I stayed at this cozy guesthouse on Koh Rong Sanloem and absolutely loved the tranquil garden views from my room. It was like watching a nature documentary right outside my window! The room itself was stylish and had all the essentials, including a handy electric kettle. Plus, the homestay was just a short hike away from the stunning M'Pai Bay Wild Beach, making it a perfect location for beach lovers like me.

WiFi was a bit weak, but that's expected on an island getaway.

Towels provided were so thick, I couldn't use them to fan myself while lounging in my imaginary hammock. How inconvenient.

our stay at baloo was even better than our last visit to koh rong sanloem! the room was spacious, clean, and had great wifi. the owners, especially simon, were incredibly friendly and gave us awesome recommendations for places to eat and visit. they even treated us to a delicious dinner during a thunderstorm. 100% recommended!

Peaceful homestay with new amenities and lovely owners. The path to get there can be a bit tricky in the dark, but it's only a short 5-minute walk to the village and beach. The hospitality of the family, the advice on what to visit in the area, and the clean room make for a great stay. I highly recommend this place!

Another advantage was the friendly owner, always ready for a chat. Plus, the price was reasonable for a private room with all the necessary amenities.

The WiFi wasn't great during our stay, but that was to be expected on the island. , finding the way back to the guesthouse after dark was a bit tricky, so bringing a head torch would be helpful.

The room was very clean and comfortable with its own toilet and bathroom. The fan and mosquito net were great additions. Simon and Srey were very helpful with any inquiries. Having a kettle in the room with free tea/coffee was fantastic. The location was good, just a 3-minute walk to the beachfront. It was only slightly more expensive than 2 dorm beds.

Felt like relaxing at home, nothing too much trouble.
